How to Order Custom Team Uniforms: Sizing, Roster, and Timeline

Ordering team uniforms is not like ordering staff polos. Every piece can be different: a different name, a different number, a different size, sometimes a different fit for a different position. That variation is exactly what makes a good process worth having before you request a quote, not after.

Here is how to order custom team jerseys without back-and-forth delays.

Step 1: Build your roster first

Before you ask for pricing, put together a simple roster: player name, number, and size for every piece you need. Having this ready when you reach out means we can quote and produce against real numbers instead of a rough headcount, and it cuts out a round trip of follow-up questions later.

Step 2: Choose your sport and cut

We cut and sew from scratch rather than printing onto a stock template, so tell us the sport and we will build to it:

• Basketball: reversible or single-layer jerseys and shorts.
• Baseball and softball: button or pullover jerseys, caps, and full team sets.
• Soccer: jerseys, shorts, and socks in your club colors.
• Cheer: custom uniforms and warmups.
• Volleyball and wrestling: fitted jerseys and singlets.

If your team wears something else, tell us. If it can be cut and sewn, we can build it.

Step 3: Get sizing right before the full order

Team and athletic sizing does not always match standard retail sizing, and a jersey that runs small across an entire roster is an expensive mistake to fix after the fact. Two ways to avoid it:

• Use a sizing chart specific to the garment, not a generic one.
• For larger orders, request a fit sample or two before committing the full roster. We offer fittings by appointment at our Buckhead workshop if you want hands-on sizing before you commit.

Step 4: Approve the design before we cut fabric

Every team order gets a digital proof, colors, panels, names, and numbers laid out exactly as they will be produced, before anything is cut. You confirm the design and the roster together, so what you approve is what ships.

Realistic timelines

Team jerseys are priced and scheduled individually because every order is different in scope, so we do not publish a single fixed lead time for them the way we do for standard knitwear. As a reference point, our published lead times are about 2 weeks door to door for knitwear and about 3 weeks for tailored pieces. A team order runs on a similar production timeline once the roster and design are approved, plus the time for you to review the proof.
